🎙 Audio
Sends your voice out over the network and back through a relay, then replays what came back — so you hear what others actually hear, not just your raw microphone.

TURN relay credentials
A TURN server relays your audio when a firewall blocks a direct peer-to-peer connection. Get a free pair from metered.ca → TURN Server (an app-name subdomain and an API key).
Fallback relay
Used only when no credentials are set above, so peers behind strict firewalls can still connect.
Jitter buffer
How much incoming audio to buffer before playing it. Higher values smooth out choppy audio on a lossy or relayed connection, at the cost of a little delay. Automatic raises it on its own when a link starts dropping packets.
0 ms leaves it to the browser. While Dev mode is on and you are the room host, this value is also pushed to everyone in the room (peers who set their own value keep theirs).
Shown in the room once your browser has asked for the microphone on two separate visits — it cannot remember the grant for you, so the tip names the setting that makes it stick.
When a room host has dev mode on, an “i” button appears next to each name showing device, audio & network diagnostics. This is off until you accept — nothing is shared otherwise.
The host has enabled debug mode, which can collect some information about your device — such as your system, OS, network connection, time zone or battery level. Nothing is transmitted until you accept.
You can change this anytime in Settings → Advanced.

A peer is asking to read this device's debug log — every message the app prints, including errors and connection details. Nothing is captured or sent unless you allow it.
Sharing stops automatically after 10 minutes, or whenever you press Stop.
